Date Update (No Pun Intended)

I have been incredibly busy this weekend and am just sitting down now to give a date update. 

So, all in all, the date went incredibly well.  We met at a restaurant bar, chatted, and had drinks before sitting down to dinner.  We were essentially the last couple in the restaurant and so we went to a local bar and got drinks.  I didn't even realize what time it was until I looked at my watch and it was 12:45am!  That's the latest I've been up in an incredibly long time so I decided to call it a night. 

A couple of highlights from the date were the following:

-He's definitely a Southern gentleman.  He went above and beyond holding open doors.  He stood up when I left the table to use the ladies room, and when I came back.  He ordered an appetizer for us.  He even remembered that I didn't want mushrooms on my salad when the waitress forgot.  So I was quite impressed by that.

-He seems extremely dedicated to his career (he's in the military) and to serving his country.

-He asked about P but did not pry.

-He seemed very interested in getting to know me and about my career and my life.

We actually saw eachother again yesterday afternoon.  We took a walk along the river and then grabbed a beer and a light dinner at a local brewery.  We've been talking about seeing eachother again and maybe cooking something together.  So, we'll see how it goes, and, of course, I will keep you all updated!
